StatusCast’s cloud services are audited at least annually against the SOC reporting framework by independent third-party auditors. The audit for StatusCast covers controls for data security, availability, processing integrity, and confidentiality as applicable to in-scope trust principles for each service.

StatusCast has achieved SOC 2 Type 1 and expects to reach Type 2 in 2020. In general, the availability of SOC 2 reports are restricted to customers who have signed non-disclosure agreements with StatusCast.

Incident Updates

When one of your systems is experiencing an outage or a performance issue, you can keep your end users informed on it’s status using incident updates. As you get more information about the potential outage, expected time to recovery, etc., use incident updates to proactively keep your end users in the loop.

Root Cause

Once an incident has been resolved, you can record a post-mortem update that discusses the root cause. Use this portion of an incident as a way to inform end users after the incident has been closed about what happened.
